When and where? Saturdays. Online via Sched & Google Meet March 6 March 13 March 20 11am-1:30pm I am a student and I registered. Now what? You should have already received an email with a link to SCHED which is our event schedule site. If you didn't receive the email , have trouble registering or have any questions about your schedule, you can contact Mrs. Bunner at tbunner@wcpss and we can work it out. Login to SCHED to create your unique event schedule. You can select FOUR DIFFERENT breakout sessions in addition to the 3 General Sessions, one each Saturday. |
Swag Pick Up
Materials will be delivered to the front office at all schools on Monday, March 15th by end of day.
YWS Participants should plan to go by their school to pick up materials Tuesday 16th through Friday 19th.

What is the structure of this event?
Schedule of activities:
Opening session
(March 6)
4 break-out sessions
(1 on March 6, 2 on March 13 and 1 on March 20)
Closing session
(March 20)
Break-out sessions will focus on some of the following topics: females in literature, writing/poetry/spoken word, healthy relationships, LGBTQ+ support, self-care, activism/leadership, visual arts, drama/performing arts, social media, females in sports, STEM, navigating friendships, and breaking stereotypes.
Is there a set number of students per school?
No, we are not limiting the number of students from each school this year.
We hope to reach our goal of 400 young women from across the school district.
Can adults attend this event?
This event is designed for our young women.
School based or family adults are invited to attend the opening session if they like, but seating in the workshops is limited to our registered participants.
